LOGO: Super intricate, which won't be good for bag designs but that is FINE. Maybe instead of chinese fonts it could say ZCM down the side and add coffee related stuff. Sun mountains, shipping containers, beans, etc

I like the overall feel of this one. I really appreciate the Japanese feel this one has. It's important to me that the logo stands out as Japanese. Like this example, I'd love to have a few versions. Circle, Linear, Vertical, etc. Each with emphasis on a different element; the monk, the English brand name, the Japanese symbols.

Antwerp and Brussels based Umamido serves traditional Japanese ramen noodles, but with a local accent. The visual identity was full revamped in keeping with the brand image: traditional Japanese themes in stark black & white come together with contemporary elements (like the Memphis-style pattern and iconography), resulting in a traditional visual language spiced up with playful twists. This is lovely, simple, clean and clever but japanese style cooking does not really represent the Too Many Foodies style of cooking. But something like this would work well - although it does look a lot like yotam ottolenghi's cook books!

This particular design incorporates both English and Japanese in a cohesive and balanced way. One doesn't seem to overpower the other despite its asymmetrical composition.
