A traditional dessert from Lebanon!  A specialty that has clotted cream (ashta) incased in a semolina-butter cake, flavored with orange blossom water. I love oriental sweets, in particular, maamoul mad bil ashta.  As you know I do not reside in Lebanon, so I miss so many foods from home.  In Lebanon, people do not typically prepare these bars.  Almost all local sweet shops sell these treats.  One of the things that I have stuck to making during Ramadan are these heavenly sweets.
