Although the Marines’ Hymn made an appearance around the it didn’t have an official version until when Commandant of the Marine Corps Maj. John A. Lejeune authorized the hymn as we know it. It gives me the chills every time I hear it!
Original copy of Marine Corps Hymn in Navajo. During the war the Navajo Code Talkers helped the USA win decisive battles because the enemy couldn't figure out the code! There wouldn't *be* a USA without the Code Talkers.
