On the National Register of Historic Places, the Menger Hotel is one of the best known and oldest hotels in the state of Texas. Continuing to cater to travelers today, the hotel is also said to be home to several resident ghosts.

Menger Hotel, San Antonio, TX - was built in 1859 only about 100 yards from The Alamo 23 years after the bloody fight in 1836. It is believed that the hotel is home to at least 32 different entities, some of which are believed to be ghosts of The Alamo. Among the many apparitions that have been seen is a man in a buckskin jacket asking "Are you gonna stay or are you gonna go?" three times before he vanishes. Other activity includes kitchen utensils floating through the air in the kitchen.
