May is Mental Health Month, it was started 67 years ago to raise awareness about mental health conditions and the importance of good mental health for everyone.  One of the biggest hurdles for anyone suffering from mental illness is overcoming the stigma.  It is the number one reason why two-thirds of those living with a mental illness do not seek help. Break the stigma.  Expressions like “You’ll get over it” and “Just relax” can minimize how a person is feeling. Instead offer your support.

Mental and emotional well being is imperative for us to live a happy and health life. Let's not underestimate how pernicious mental and emotional instability can be - be mindful of and that may need help!
