Miss Jane Marple is a fictional character in twelve of Agatha Christie's murder mystery books. Margaret Rutherford is a scream, my mother and I loved her as Miss Marple!

Miss Marple (TV series) - Joan Hickson is perfect in the title role!

Joan Hickson was the 5th Miss Marple starring in BBC series from 1984 - 1992 (3 seasons - 8 years) Born in Northhampton Aug. 1906 - 1998 (I've been watching her on WETA lately and I can't say she's my favorite but I love all the Miss Marple movies)
