This polygon names foldable geometry activity would be the perfect way to help my geometry students take notes on the names of polygons based on the number of sides they have! I love that it has triangles, quadrilaterals, pentagons, hexagons, heptagons, octagons, nonagons, decagons, hendecagons, dodecagons, and n-gons! I love using interactive notes in my geometry classroom. We teach this right at back to school time so it would be such a fun activity to get my Geometry students excited!

LOVE this site!!! Not only does it have the FREE printable math worksheets indexed by grade level (pre-k through calculus and statistics), they are also indexed by content, i.e. area of triangle, counting money, order of operations, addition, word problems, factors.

great worksheets for the classroom. Can choose grade level, and the area you would like them for.

This set of task cards is designed to help your students master intermediate geometry skills and concepts! Students will practice: - Naming shapes and identifying alternative names to common quadrilaterals - Identifying types of triangles (right, equilateral, isosceles and scalene) - Identifying types of lines (parallel, perpendicular, intersecting, ray, line, segment, points) - Identifying types of angles (right, acute, obtuse, reflex) - etc.

Triangle Trap is a 2-player geometry game that allows students to practice classifying triangles based on sides and/or angles. Players roll a die to identify a type of triangle before searching for one on the game board that fits the name. The first player to get 5 in a row - horizontally, vertically, or diagonally - wins the game.

My Lower Elementary students love this game, and play it often! Triangles: Isosceles-Scalene-Equilateral-Right Directions: Laminate and cut out game pieces on page three. After reviewing the different types of triangles take turns drawing from the mixed up, face down triangle pile. If both players agree that the triangle the player picks matches the name drawn they place their "x" or "o" on the game board.
