London in the 1920's-penny for the guy by Warsaw1948, via Flickr, Bonfire Night or Guy Fawkes night was a big thing for British children, I can remember making a guy every year sitting outside the train station with friends asking 'penny for the Guy' the money you made would be spent on fireworks or pop which I  wasn't allowed only at Christmas, how times have changed!
