At present, 14 air forces around the world have chosen the A-29 Super Tucano © Embraer  Embraer Defense & Security announced on November 30, 2017 a firm order of six A-29 Super Tucano from the Philippines Air Force, the Philippine Air Force (PhAF). The contract follows a call for competition for the supply of a close support aircraft. Beechcraft's AT-6 Wolverine and Aero Vodochody's L39-NG competed with the A-29 Super Tucano.  Deliveries will begin in 2019.
