As the Pope Clement VII, a major thorn in Henry VIII's side. Henry gave he so many gray hairs it was unbelievable.  It was the last straw then he asked me to give him a divorce from his first wife, Catherine of Aragon, in the 1520's .But I cant just blame it all on him.There was multiple reason, "but one was that Catherine's nephew, Holy Roman Emperor Charles V, had Clement VII under his thumb at the time."
