"So while these fires rage across Australia, the raging fire in our own souls, depicted in William Blake’s painting 'Cringing in Terror', seems a far greater problem than the latest climate event fixation.
#FREEDOM LAUNCHES at the Royal Geographical Society in London! Key note address by Sir Bob #Geldof followed by #JeremyGriffith presenting his breakthrough biological treatise. What a monumental day! #SirBobGeldof #BookLaunch #RGS
Jeremy Griffith created this monumental sun from shells collected from one small beach in Sydney, Australia. While cockle shells are found on sandy sheltered beaches throughout the world, Jeremy has never seen these pure gold-coloured ones on any other beach. He also found the large white scallop shell on the same beach, and he’s never seen a large white one like this before or since. The whole picture is positively bursting with excitement!
Before coming across Jeremy’s work, I had absolutely no idea that much of Leunig’s cartoons contained profound honesty about the human condition.
One of Jeremy Griffith's ‘Ultra Nothing’ drawings — a way of giving the soul free reign to express itself in silly and imaginative ways.
