There are at least 12,000 plant species living across the state of Western Australia! This unusual, low growing plant, Lechenaultia macrantha, - or wreath flower - is not found anywhere else in the world. The large yellow, pink and red flowers appear at the ends of the branches which grow out in a ring of up to a metre in diameter. It's flowering period is around August to November.
