L3M2AS2a The Race Pt 4. Nikon D810, Sigma 150-500, Shot at 150mm, 1/160, f/13, ISO 800. Cropped and adjusted in Lightroom. No. 12 crosses the finish line in first place. I cropped this to have the Kart almost leaving the frame, to keep the impression of speed.

L3M2AS2 Monkey Mia jetty, Dawn. Nikon D810, 24mm Sigma Art, 120 Sec, f/14, ND10 Filter. ISO 100 WB 3550K. Taken just before sunrise, I wanted the silhouette of the Jetty against the silk smooth water. I deliberately kept the image as simple as possible. Adjustments to levels and saturation made in light room. I used the clone tool to remove a small yacht on the horizon which moved on its moorings during the long exposure.

L3M2AS2c Perth CBD from the South Shore. Nikon D810, Sigma 24mm Art Prime, 135 sec exposure with 10 stop ND filter, f/16, ISO 31, WB 5678K. Minor adjustments to vibrance and saturation. I wanted to smooth the water and get some dynamism in the sky, as I was short of time and couldn't wait for the sun to set, I stopped down to the smallest aperture of this lens, the lowest ISO, and slapped on the big stopper after manually focusing to get the sharpest image.

L3M2AS2c Boatshed 2. Nikon D810, Sigma 24mm Art, 30 sec, f/16, ISO 31, Adjustments made in lightroom and Viveza. As the sun was rising the front of the boathouse was still shaded, resulting in under exposure, I selectively brightened the front using Nik Viveza 2, as it gives more precision than the radial filter in lightroom. Issy, Does this fit the brief for landscape?, the image has a horizon line, but the dominant feature is the boat house, so I don't know if this would be rejected…
