This is my style of Boro- Japanese mending stitching, some found small pieces of fabric purchased years ago in Aeldaide, a little sashiko.

love the idea of alternating four-square and sashiko with the blue, white, and asian print.

The traditional Japanese embroidery technique known as sashiko can be used to produce some spectacular pieces. Upon getting used to simpler projects, it’s a good idea to move on to something a bit more.
