reggio inspired documentation and display

FS1 This week we are learning to..... I'm having an aha moment. Years ago; when J. Hewitt came through our school, she recommended all teachers posting a poster outside the classroom door that identified the curriculum goals for children and adults alike, to read. I'm realizing that the WALT board was a beginning stage of the documentation process. I like the Reggio process much better - I understand the logic behind it better, and see how the children can truly use it.

Clipboards to display project documentation and/or children's work. Especially practically for documentation that is "in process!"

Look! Beautifully Organized Inspiration Board(s)

Family Involvement: tree with fingerprint leaves from each family member; branches hung with family photos.

Reggio Emilia: Families - Fairy Dust Teaching Family tree and family photo wall. Not sure what I'm going to do with this idea yet.
