Write out sentences on different colored paper strips, cut apart, put in ziplock. Students unscramble sentences, record them on the printed sheet and color the circle to match the paper strips color.--can also make them use this for parts of speech!

These flips books would be great for teaching onset and rime. Students could actually make these in class. For a phonics lesson in 1st or 2nd grade the teacher could hand out the folded pieces of paper and have the students write words with the same rime in each one. These could eventually be a great "study guide."
