Scarpa Thunder has had an upgrade. A great all rounder shoe which you can wear all day but still edge like a knife.
Karrimor Alpiniste. My first 'real' mountaineering rucksack. Designed by Dougal Haston around 1970ish. Except for the metal buckles (fingers kept sticking to them in sub zero temps) this was an amazing design. It even doubled as a bivy bag. Loved the colour. Loved the pack.
EB Super Gratton. Hand made in France by master boot-maker, Edourd Bourdonneau. In the 1970s just about every difficult new route in the world was put up by climbers wearing these.
Boreal Fires. The climbing shoe of the 1980s. These babies changed the game. Magic.
Original G Short from Gramicci. That's right. Mike Graham was one of the Yosemite Rockmasters and these are still the best cotton climbing shorts ever designed. Period.
