Off the Beaten Track: The Golden Age of Australian Travel Posters

Off the Beaten Track showcases a selection of lithographs from some of the eras best known commercial artists. Here the sublime nature of the Australian landscape is harnessed to promote regional tourism. Commercial artists from the 1920's to the 1950’s created a uniquely Australian vision of the landscape recognisable at home and from abroad, indeed some have described them as emblems of our national identity.
