Instead of numbers write the color word on the bottles. Sort pom-poms by color. Empty each bottle and count the pom-poms. Then record how many pom-poms were in each bottle. Add the two colors together for addition practice.
I made this really cool game that they LOVED doing! I used sharpies to color the clothespins and turned pipe cleaners into a loop. They then matched the correct color loop and pinned on the clothespin (Cool Crafts With Pipe Cleaners)
Make your own lunchbox icepacks from dollar store sponges soaked in water and put in ziplock bag. When they thaw, the sponge absorbs the water. I completely forgot about this handy trick! After lunch take squeeze the sponge and wash up hands and face!
