This scene showed lovely natural light with the beauty of autumn colours on the trees which lined the road, and provided leading lines into the landscape. I used a handheld Nikon D7000 camera, set on auto with flash off, ISO was 100, shutter speed was fast at 1/250 second due to the speed of the cars, f/stop was 7.1 and focal length was 42mm.
This photo was taken in the early afternoon light with some shade. I set up the tripod to focus on a broom before taking the shot, then switched the lens to manual focus, turned off the flash and too the shot with a 10 second timer. The camera settings were ISO 200, f stop was 6.3 and the exposure was 1/160 sec.
