The Divinyls- Lead by the enigmatic Chrissy Amphlett. She was known for her volatility, highly erotic performances, sultry voice and school girl dress. Their many hits included Pleasure & Pain, I touch myself, Science Fiction, Boys in Town, Back to the wall. Chrissy sadly died from breast cancer in NY 2013. As a tribute to Chrissy the NSW Cancer Council has just launched the "I touch myself" campaign which features a video of 10 famous Aussies singing her anthem including Olivia Newton John.
Air Supply- Aussie soft rock duo Russell Hitchcock (lead) & Graham Russell formed in Melbourne in 75. They have sold more than 100 million albums. Their greatest hits include All out of love, Every woman in the world, Lost in love, The one that you love, Even the nights are better, Making love out of nothing at all to name a few. I saw them a few months ago in concert. Russell still has the most incredible voice. They were amazing.
