You need: 14" long by 4" wide quilting cotton and fusible medium weight woven interfacing 1" key fob hardware (if your hardware is 1.25", cut your fabric and interfacing 5" wide instead of 4") Flat pliers. I got mine in a kit with my keyfob hardware at Amazon. You can glue some felt or fleece fabric on it so that you don't scratch your hardware, like I did here. Fraycheck is nice to avoid fabric fraying but it's fine if you don't have any. Make sure your fabric is well aligned in your keyfob hardware before pressing all the way!" If you've been around since the beginning of Lo & Behold Stitchery, you might remember that key fobs were my JAM. Back in the early days, I cranked out SO many key fobs in all sorts of variations and stocked my Etsy shop with them. They are super fun to make and very quick and rewarding! I eventually phased out of making them for sale, but I do still really enjoy making one from time to time! They make great teacher gifts, stocking stuffers, party favors....whatever you'd like! All you need…

You can sew a cute wrist strap key fob with my fast and easy sewing tutorial. Of all the DIY projects I’ve sewn and gifted to people, wristlet keychain fobs are the ones that people ask for again and again! This year the assistant principal at my daughter’s elementary school was not very subtle when she repeated several times that the wrist lanyard I gifted her a couple years ago was getting old.
