Happy Father's Day Dad! You taught me how to be a man of my word, that integrity was more important than money, that doing the right thing was more important than winning, and most importantly, to treat others like you want to be treated yourself. Thanks Dad! I'm proud to call you my father. Happy Father's Day Keith. XoXoX PS: Unlike Luke!
R.I.P. Aunty Hazel, I will truly miss your beautiful smile, wonderful sense of humour and the way your face lit up every time I saw you. I believe we are lucky in life, if we end up with even a handful of truly special people around us and last night, I lost one of the most beautiful souls I have ever had the privilege of knowing. These are a couple of photos from her 100th and 101st Birthday celebrations.
R.I.P. Aunty Hazel ... Incredibly, this beautiful woman was at home with her loving daughter, sipping tea and enjoying life at home, only a few short days ago and although she'd just spent a little time in hospital, that just made her all the more appreciative of coming home. Happily, there was no real struggle, no heart wrenching bed ridden disease, no pain and suffering. Eventually, Aunty Hazel's age finally claimed her ... very peacefully in the end, of what has been a remarkable life.
R.I.P. Aunty Hazel ... My aunty Hazel passed away last night in her sleep, just a few weeks short of her one hundred and second (102) birthday. Hazel was a woman who touched all those she met, with her genuine friendly smile, her love of life, family, all those around her ... and her never ending positive attitude.
