Gecko dot painting final
Best viewed on black background Gecko created by repetitive pattern of dots. I used the end of wooden pencils, small toothpicks and Q-tips to create the various dot sizes. Inspiration was Australian aboriginal dot painting art and my own fascination with dots, repetition, circles, patterns and the rhythm caused when they are combined. They really are magnificent! I decided to do a week of peacock paintings with kinder through fifth grade.
