Painted by Allen Toomey, January 2011. This spectacular painting was created on location in South Australia in the southern Flinders Ranges. While traveling around Australia I was camping in the Melrose showgrounds and saw this beautiful scene to capture in oil on canvas. The trees are Australian River Gum and the blue haze of Eucalypt can be seen on the ranges.
