September 2015.....This is Romanesco Broccoli. Its beautiful to look at and great to eat. I grew 3 of them this year, and they took up quite a lot of the space in Ecobed 3. They were worth it..... http://joharthash.blogspot.com.au/
September 2015......Ecobed 4 is growing peas and beans. They are in flower and setting seed pods after growing steadily through our mild winter. They came into flower at just the right time. http://joharthash.blogspot.com.au/p/growing-peas.html
September We are harvesting silverbeet leaves and lettuce heads from Ecobed 1 and soon we will have baby beet and carrots. The onions, garlic and leeks have had blackfly on them, but spraying with Eco neem oil seems to be controlling them.
July 2015.....These potato tubers are being chitted in my small lean-to greenhouse. They are starting to shoot and should be ready for planting in a few weeks. http://joharthash.blogspot.com.au/2015/08/home-page.html
