Brendan's Walk. On September 8 2017, Major Brendan Nottle began a 40 day journey, walking more than 700km from Melbourne to the front of Parliament House in Canberra. Visiting communities along the way, Brendan will hear first-hand about the challenges these communities face as they tackle the complex issues contributing to homelessness. Yesterday, Major Brendan Nottle completed his 703.3 km walk from Melbourne to Canberra, arriving at Parliament House.
