My teacher uses a Noise Meter similar to this one. The Noise Meter is a cool way to remind students the correct noise level that they should be using! You just use the paper clip and move it to the appropriate noise level the students should be using.
I have introduced this into my Special Day Class to talk about how big their problem is and different ways problems can be solved. I have created a big chart that is at the front of the class and each student has a small one on their desk.
Old, or New Toys = New Lamp! Get a lamp, get some toys (or whatever items you want), get your hot-glue gun, and start gluing items onto the lamp! Spray paint the whole thing when finished and tada! New lamp!
