Tea tree (Leptospermum minutifolium). I would like to see this in an espalier form.

Most species are endemic to Australia, but some species grow in New Zealand,Malaysia. A shrub or small tree, early settlers soaked the leaves in boiling water to make a brewed tea rich in ascorbic acid (vit C).

Lemon Myrtle Backhousia citriodora Lemon Scented Myrtle Native with non-invasive roots. Grows to 5 metres high x 4 metres wide. Deep green foliage with silver undersides. Has creamy, white fluffy clusters of flowers. Is great in domestic gardens as it is both fragrant and bushy to the ground.

The Lemon Myrtle, Backhousia citriodora, was in full bloom in the pa rk in December. It is found along the service road behind the dry rainf.
