The Alliance for Metropolitan Stability is a coalition of grassroots organizations that advances racial, economic and environmental justice in growth and development patterns in the Twin Cities region.
This is an idea that originated with Caritas, the Catholic aid agency, it was originally developed to deal with literacy programs in Brazil and is now applied to problems in the developed world. It’s called Animation, and it’s all about the community deciding on its priorities and then finding solutions to them. It looks deceptively easy although there must have been some heartbreaking moments along the way.
The St Vincent de Paul Society's Metro South West (MSW) Brokerage, is a generalist program thats priority is to assist singles, couples and families to sustain and maintain their tenancy. The Brokerage office is located in Campbelltown.
