Shown during my WIP I tried to take more images of this area, this is one of the experiment. I do think I preferred the first one with the man split in two behind the door.
Before/after of one of my finals. This is th linage I first played with my colour palette to bring together colours of the environment tat didn't match as much together. In the late process I added the blue lighting in the elevator to echo with the rest of the series better.
Before/after of one of my finals. I enhanced the colour identity of each block of the image and brought focus to the character with the suitcase so the top left corner would have also interests.
Before after of one ;y finals. I really enhanced the difference slices so we would be able to grasp better what was happening within the mirrors, while creating windows on different worlds thanks to the colour use.
Shown during my 2nd WIP. I really like this image, all these figures waiting create a singular effecting this open space. It reminds me of a series of Erwin Olaf/. However it wasn't the direction I was going for and wasn't strong enough to take me away from geometry and colour.
Shown during the 2nd WIP in class. I like how the reflections of the light brings a colourful cohesiveness and really adds to the feeling of depths.
Shown during the 2nd WIP in class. I like the different colours on the ground and how the dog creates a point of interest.
Shown during the 2nd WIP in class. I've tried to see how this image would work in black and white. I do think it works and would enhance the overall geometry of my series, but I didn't push it too much as I feel one of the strong part of my series is how I combined colours.
Shown during the 2nd WIP in class. As I was playing with colour matching, these 2 men wearing pink stood out. I like the different interactions we have with the different characters and how it's set in Chinatown thanks to the top right corner. However it is really far away from the final style of my series.
Shown in the 2nd WIP in class. I really like this image. The way its framed gives us context and explore this idea of looking within while having two different light colours. The image has this strong sense of geometry explored in my finals but lack the depths and slick feeling.
Shown during the 2nd WIP. I really like this images and its chaos structured by the colour and the white rectangle of the true. It also shows a concrete action which sets us in the busy atmosphere of Chinatown.
Shown during the 2nd WIP. I like how the image is cut by the pylon, and how the 3 characters on the right look in the same direction, however we're missing a bit of the old man in the background or could have used a longer sense to capture more of their faces.
