Boat trip today on Bruny Island south of Hobart. Probably the best $100 per head I have spent. Sea Caves and kelp forests. Spectacular coastal cliffs and sea stacks. Guide actually judges the swell and takes us through the gap a few times. Australian Fur Seals. Amazing how close we can get to these animals. This beautiful building stands on the site of the original Hobart jail and is surrounded by the Cascade Gardens and visitor centre with Mt Wellington imposing itself in the background.
