Another from the collection I found at my mum's. No saucer found, just side plate. I love how there are permanent dirty marks near the base if the outside of the dainty cup, and scratching a in the gold rim. The evidence of much use, much heritage, much life. Of 2, maybe 3? generations? Sitting on the floor in the sunshine in my messy back room with this dainty piece and a beautiful cup of Rooibos tea. It's a GOOD morning!!!! #houseworkcanwait
A delicate mug… I gave this to my mum once - so she could use it for her morning hot water drink whilst doing her morning prayer time. I have it now - not sure she used it… as I found it in her cupboard of special things still safe in its box… Still, it brings to mind good memories of my mum, a woman of faith and prayer. Yes, it's a good morning! GOODMORNING!
A dainty vintage tea cup I found in my mums collection. I don't know anything much about it, but you can sense the history through its style and the ware in its paintwork. I like this cup very much. This is my first morning of use. Perfect way to start the week. GOODMORNING!!
Good morning! Another gift that came in a beautiful box and so I left it that way… on display… for over a year! But now time to admire the gift itself and utilise it for its purpose. 😊. The same design as yesterday's tea/cup pot. There is definitely a mug or a cup for every mood, feel or moment. #illdrinktothat #goodmorning #tea #morningcupoftea
My morning cup of tea in this pretty one 🌸. Off to a good start! Even though I was gifted this a good year ago, it's the first time I have used it. Finally took it out of the beautiful gift box it came in. 😊 It's always lovely to drink from a cup that is a gift from someone who knows you well. I'll drink to that!
"It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas" especially when your Christmas mug collection comes out!
… and sometimes it's just imperative that your tea cup is bigger than your tea pot! Bought this 'bowl' once as a joke for my husband who would always order the largest coffee he could when we were out at a cafe. Certainly came in handy for me today. (It's a bicep workout to lift however!!). I'll drink to that!!!
Such a delightful gift! I am sitting in our new home, on our lusciously lovely red rug, drinking tea from a mug given to me by precious friends. I am on holidays. It doesn't get much better than this. The simple things.
My new work cup. And also love that a colleague bought it for me - in a very 'me' colour too. It's nice to be 'known' at work. I am blessed to work with amazing and thoughtful people.
I woke one blue morning to the sound of a knock on my door. By the time I got to the door there was a package sitting at my front step. Inside was a gift and encouraging card, for no particular reason. In true 'me' form, I smiled and cried all at once. It lifted my spirits and turned a blue day into a GOOD MORNING!
Teapot and Soy milk from Japan. No surprise that both cup and saucer are made in China! However whilst the cup bares no brand, the saucer is Aussie, Maxwell Williams. Welcome to my multicultural morning cuppa!
Not quite morning, but it was a good morning for sure. After a morning of wine tasting, an filling lunch and a stroll through another brewery, this English Breakfast tea was absolutely sensational - teamed with views of Pokolbin wine country. And it was definitely breakfast time somewhere in the world, so, GOODMORNING to you!
