Founded by William Arnot in 1865, had humble beginnings baking pies and ship biscuits from a small shopfront in Newcastle. He later changed his name to Arnott. A decade later, he purchased 200 cows to provide fresh milk for his biscuits. A young girl tries Arnott's Milk Arrowroot biscuits in a grocery shop in the 1940s.
