Rammed earth is such a beautiful way of building. Thick walls of earth mediate between indoors and out, modulating the temperature and humidity levels. The material is beautiful, too, and solid so it is visible on both the interior and the exterior of a structure. But what about when dealing with this material on a kitchen wall?Rammed earth is probably not a material you want being exposed to the splashes and stains of kitchen uses.
