Our West Facing Maple Garden

2 large maples anchor the garden bed that sits between the upper west and north decks & runs down to the glass pool fence. Under planting is meant to evoke ribbons of colours in reds, bright greens and white flowers.

Oct15: Loreepetalum china pinks - these are probably the hardest thing in this garden to get established.  They are responding well to water but one or two of them look a bit small and sad. They're improving though....

Oct15:  Helleborus orientals scattered planting throughout.  These respond really well to a good water and fertiliser.  The more you water and feed the more they grow.

Plant Selection: Anemone Japonica.  I haven't got these in this garden yet as of Oct15 but I'll get them in when the nurseries have them back instock over the next 12 months. They will look terrific.
