The Blue Lake, Mount Gambier. From November till April the cobalt blue of the water seen here is, amazingly, the actual colour of this stunning South Australian Volcanic Lake. For the remaining months of the year the water is a steel grey colour.

Moon Plain - Coober Pedy. The Moon Plain is a vast expanse of rocky plains unlike anywhere else. The lunar like landscape has been the set for many movies including Mad Max Beyond the Thunderdome, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Pitch Black and The Red Planet among others. Location: approximately 15km north-east of Coober Pedy.

Moon Plain - Coober Pedy would love to go back here when bubs is a bit older show him the underground houses and show andy the ship from pitch black
