The first few days of a surf trip to the Banyak Islands in Indonesia had been pretty wild. Storms and big seas had battered us and while we did find a few secluded spots to surf, it was nothing special. Just before dark one evening the storms cleared and the seas went glassy. It was the beginning of one of the best weeks surfing I have ever had. I was so excited to see the wind back off that I took this photograph of the surface of the ocean. #oceanphotography
Skip the sunset mojitos with Bali's white linen crowd and get over to the Bukit to catch the best light of the day shining through a wall of Indian Ocean perfection like this one that Nyoman 'Blacky' caught at Bingin.
