DIY Colored Sticks - Ginette Lapalme has created beautiful DIY colored sticks by painting driftwood. This piece of art could be turned into a craft for kids that could .

Each student traced their own hand in pencil then broke up their hand into different shapes and patterns.T​hey traced over the pencil lines with black sharpie. We used colored pencils to color each shape in pushing down to make them bold and bright. I glued them down to a large piece of cardboard that was covered in black paper.

Love the unique decorations of these handprints! What a great "buddy" project to explore the idea of friendship in Judge Julie Truly. Each child will create on their level. They can take their handprints home.
