At times we have to make our jewellery in sections, set the diamonds and then solder all the sections together to form our final piece. You just have to go the extra mile to get the finish you want!! This gorgeous Deco style pendant will be set in two stages. Firstly all the diamonds were set into the three pieces and then the pendant was soldered together and the aquamarine will be set last. We can't wait to see it finished!
Two beautiful intense pink diamonds and what to do with them? It’s such a hard life! If you desperately want your own piece of Australian history, we have four diamond graders on the premises along with two designers so we can walk you through the process of finding and setting your own special piece of pink history!
Sometimes the best things come in tiny packages! White heart shaped diamond accentuated with two tiny pink round brilliant cut diamonds delicately set into white gold claws. Each claw has been facetted to a mirror finish. Perfect for those women who want the most delicate glimmer of light at their throat…
Thomas Meihofer Jewellery Design were commissioned by Western Areas NL, Atlas Iron Ltd and Patersons Securities to design a trophy dedicated to Craig Oliver, who tragically lost his life with several other mining identities from Sundance Resources in a plane crash in the Congo. The design brief for the trophy was to create a non-traditional, sculpturally abstract piece of art, avoiding the traditional dump-truck and pickaxe wielding miner cast in gilded bronze.
Our latest heartfelt collaboration was inspired by a son’s drawing of a family tree for his mother. The featured piece is an18ct yellow gold and sterling silver bracelet with links resembling tree branches, while each charm has a much loved family member or friend photo etched onto it. The charms are detachable and can be worn in a variety of different combinations. Depending who is the favour of the month, those out of favour may end up in the compost bin!
We are pretty sure the new owner of this stunning amethyst and diamond ring was a jewellery designer in a past life… Nicole had such a clear vision of what she wanted, it feels like we barely lifted a finger! Congratulations on your anniversary Nicole, glad we could bring your vision to life!
