Finks Building (demolished) - 276 Flinders Street. MELBOURNE Australia. The 10 storey building was Melbournes tallest when built, just slightly smaller than the nearby Australian building (13 storeys). The tower originally featured a complex undulating Mannerist facade crowned by several picturesque features on the skyline, including a high mansard roof. The picturesque effect of the building was removed from the city skyline after the building was destroyed by fire.
