Knight Cross holder SS-Uscha. Johann Thaler. He was tank driver (PzKpfw IV) in 6th company of the 2nd SS-PzRgt "Das Reich". During Soviet attack on Teterewino, Grasnoje and Kotschetovka, Thaler drove his tank at high speed towards the enemy. Together with 2 other tanks, they succeeded in cutting-off 17 enemy tanks.
