In DBT we learn with our Interpersonal Effectiveness skills how to say no to unwanted requests or perhaps negotiate if the situation calls for it. We practice Factors to Consider, which include questions about capability, priorities, timing, long term versus short term goals when determining what may be more effective for the situation. #DBT
