The first recorded game of Aussie Rules Footy began on the tree-dotted parklands outside the Melbourne Cricket Ground by teams from Scotch College and Melbourne Grammar School on 7 August 1858. The Australian Rules Grand Final is held at the 'G' known world-wide as the Melbourne Cricket Ground or M.C.G.
