I'm unsure as to whether I prefer this image or the one with the people in it. This looks very interesting but I find it to be too empty, the balloons in the back are also too hidden for my liking. However, the emptiness of the framing could also work very well if I decided to go with the idea of "quietness and loneliness in the streets." This photograph could work well with the one of the man who is lying on the ground.
I find this photograph to be the best out of the three. The subject on its own already makes the photograph look very interesting but it is the quality of loneliness and the ominous feel of the darkness that really makes this framing work.
Much better framing, the man stand out in this image. While the photograph looks cluttered with the group of people passing by, it makes the viewer question what the man was doing. One of the guys in the group is also looking at the man, emphasizing on this weird position of the man.
One of my favorite from this type of framing. There is a lot going on but I find them to be framed correctly. The woman's pink coat also matches the colour of the wall, adding to the nice aesthetic of the photograph.
The framing in this helps to bring out their expressions. It's an everyday scene.
My favorite framing of this setting. The subjects aligned very nicely in this framing, they don't take attention away from the two woman in the back and the balloons can also be seen. I think this is one of strongest images from this day.
A very mundane setting but I found it interesting. There was this play of colour in the scene with the red and the green. I was initially intrigued by the poster and I was originally looking for a woman wearing something red to match the aesthetic and the woman in the poster. After a few failed attempts, I finally captured this woman who had an interesting green light bouncing off her clothes.
Arguable, one of my strongest photographs for this project. I call this "two-headed blonde man." The way I positioned myself made it seem as if these two men were merged together. I thought it made the photograph very interesting and added a sense of ambiguity. I am very pleased with this. I would've liked for the background to be completely empty as in another of the photographs of this scene, however in that one my focus was off, so this is my second best option.
Perfect framing, however my focus is off from the subjects. A failure and a detail to be careful of when I go to shoot again.
I prefer the photographs where the men are standing on their own. It makes the sense of ambiguity stronger.
The woman at the front of the frame covers the mans feet. This, to me, makes the photograph ineffective, as it is drawing attention away from my main subject.
First shot of this underground setting. It has a lot of potential for the creation of a strong composition. I need to explore this scene further from different angles to see if I can get a different/stronger feel to it. I may need to include more of the pink tiled wall in the scene.
Here I was focusing on the relationship between colour: red & green. Not the most interesting photograph I've taken but it has a nice aesthetic.
This setting will be included in one of my final photographs. Visually it looks very interesting, however this photograph does not show the full potential of the location. It seems too crowded and enclosed in comparison to the other photographs that show a different angle of the scene.
An interesting opportune moment. The lighting perfectly aligned with the mans hand, making it stand out further. I also find that the woman at the front of the frame works very well, without her there is too much going on in the photograph. She helps to make my framing less cluttered.
