My last day of school was on Tuesday, and I have to say that I just had my best year of teaching ever. I LOVED my 1st/2nd grade combo class. Over the course of the year, I saw kids become readers, and kids who came in as "readers" become true thinkers of text. I have to confess I wasn't going to make a slideshow this year...I usually make one but I have been so busy getting everything else ready and I didn't feel my picture taking this year was as good as years past.
