    Swanston St Melbourne late 1970s. It;s amazing to think that this street hardly resembles this picture in 2013. Sure it's now a tram and pedestrian thoroughfare i like the older version with the CUB in the distance. In fact give me old melbourne over this current day need to be shiny and all modern with shoeboxes lining the city.

Six of this class were designed by the Prahran and Malvern Tramways Trust and were completed for the Board by an outside contractor in 1921, and are Melbourne's oldest trams. They were all in storage at the time this photograph was produced.
