Stewart Hill. Bass player for Fort Kilsby & Dead Letter Circus and a good friend of mine since high school. This shot taken using the old pull zoom technique which is basically taking an exposure for a couple of seconds, and pulling the zoom from wide to long or vice versa during the shot. Notice the highlight of the eye has formed a love heart… Not on purpose but I think its cool. B Processing in Photoshop CS5 made to look like high ISO B film.

Sun rays through fire smoke. Up at the tip here on the mountain, all the green waste is disposed of with fire. This arvo I noticed the bizarre colours from the suns rays in the smoke. This is straight out of camera, no editing other than resize. This is actually what it looked like.

Maiala picnic ground in the freezing rain and fog. Ever since moving to Mount Glorious I’ve wanted to capture the magic as the cloud sets in. I got completely soaked taking this photo but I believe it was worth it.

Wandering the streets of Sydney at day break Sunday morning, presents a very differnt vibe. The angle the sun beams down the inner city hilly streets is magical as a street cleaner goes about his work.

Photographic light painting is one of my favorite styles using a camera. Ive been experimenting with it since I first started using film cameras back in the early 90’s. This shot is of Rosanna walking down the streets of Woodford Folk Festival.

Stuck in traffic, I notice the love heart my wife drew on the windscreen with her finger glowing in the afternoon sun.

Rusted iron fence. I really like the textures on this fence with the rust and the flaking surface.
