One of the longest structures in the world, it’s is the world's longest fence, stretching 5,614 kilometres (3,488 mi) from south east Qld through thousands of kilometres of arid land, ending west of the Eyre peninsula in S. Australia where the Nullarbor Plain meets the Great Australian Bight.
