The Splendid Fairywren (Malurus splendens), also known simply as Blue Wren, is small bird found across much of Australia.

Superb Blue Wren (Malurus cyaneus). From south-east Queensland through to Tasmania and west to the Eyre Peninsula in South Australia. Generally within 200kms of the coast, but also up the Murray River and Lachlan Rivers in New South Wales.
